Motivational Monday

Have your children had their daily vitamins?
     I am not talking about these little gummie things that come in a bottle even though they are helpful too.   I am referring to vitamins that can be just as beneficial if not more so. 
  1. Are your children unplugged and outside for one hour a day? 
  2. Have you sat down and read with them or they read to you?
  3. Have your children had at least one healthy high protein meal today?
     We all know how important these things are for the healthy growth of children without me going into a long dissertation.  We may even laugh at these three little things and how simple they appear, but when we are busy and tired, they are easily forgotten.  It is much easier to run through a drive thru or just let them sit in front of the tv.  It gives us the much needed break we are looking for as parents. Unfortunately, I may not ALWAYS get to these three things everyday.  However, just like vitamins, I TRY very hard to include them in our everyday lives.  It helps keep me and my children happy and healthy.
